Friends of Parkinson’s believes that every life is a story worth writing. 

Our Soulful Scribe program brings this belief to life. Representatives from Friends of Parkinson's will visit local communities, including assisted living facilities, to unlock the potential of personal storytelling.

Every month, Soulful Scribe is designed to:

• Explore diverse topics related to writing and self-expression
• Encourage participants to share their unique life experiences

Why is writing so important? It's more than just putting words on paper – it's a journey of self-discovery and healing. Journaling is a practice that brings out the best in us, where we can communicate our true selves and connect with others on a deeper level. It's a therapeutic tool that heals and renews a sense of self. 

Friends of Parkinson's believes "Your story is valuable to someone." Every lived experience holds wisdom: your age or health condition don't diminish your worth, rather your unique perspective can enlighten and inspire others.
